AndREW Brand
Andy Brand was a well loved member of the London and Essex Society before he passed away on 14th April 2013 after his long battle with a brain tumour.
Andy Brand Memorial
The Andy Brand memorial trophy has been running since 2014 and has raised thousands of pounds for St Francis Hospice, Abridge.
St Francis looked after Andy in his final days.
Richard Hayter Memorial Shield
The Richard Hayter Shield was started in 2025 to remember long standing member and club secretary Richard Hayter.
Richard, aka "Spud", loved the annual weekend away and arranged several during his time on the committee.
Richard Hayter
Richard Hayter was a long standing member and committee member of the London and Essex Golf Society. Richard is the only Society member to get a hole in one on a society day. Richard passed away in 2021 after battling cancer.
